LEGAL ENTITY: Individual enterprise

LEGAL REGULATION
  • The Law on Individual Enterprises
  • The Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania (Book Two)
ESTABLISHMENT
  • The regulations of the enterprise being established are drawn up and signed by the owner of the enterprise;
  • The owner may submit to the Register of Legal Entities an application (form JAR-5) for temporary inclusion of the name of the enterprise into the Register;
  • If the owner is not the manager of the enterprise, he appoints another person to serve as manager of the enterprise and makes relevant entries in the regulations of the enterprise;
  • The enterprise is deemed to have been established upon registration thereof with the Register of Legal Entities.
REGISTRATION

Before the application for registration of the individual enterprise is submitted to the Administrator of the Register, the civil law notary must verify the correctness of the particulars entered into the application, the compliance of the statutes with the statutory requirements and the fact that the individual enterprise is eligible for registration.
