The State Enterprise Centre of Registers, Lithuania, in cooperation with the National Land Survey of Finland organizes the second REG-NORD-BALT 2018 Workshop that will take place on 19-21 September 2018 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Workshop aims at promoting and strengthening the cooperation among the agencies and organisations managing base state registers and information systems: Population, Legal Entities/Business and Real Property/Land in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Considering the current developments and challenges we are facing, the theme of the Workshop is Towards Open and Sustainable World.

The Workshop will focus on the latest developments and exchanging views on the current issues related to enhancing the operation of state registers and their interoperability, opening of data and privacy issues, especially the implementation of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and future trends.

Participants from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden are invited. The participation is limited to 2 participants from each organisation.
